Books about Blewbury

THIS WEB SITE is produced and maintained by the staff of the Blewbury Bulletin newsletter. It describes Blewbury, a village at the north edge of the Berkshire Downs, situated, like many such villages, at the point where there are many springs of water from the aquifer under the downs. Blewbury has existed for at least 1000 years. For most of its life it has been a typical agricultural village, but over the past 100 years has become a favourite home for artists and writers, and more recently for scientists, engineers, teachers and others involved in the nearby 'Atomic' - the research laboratories at Harwell - and other similar scientific and technological establishments.

To the left you will find links to a directory of services and facilities in the village. There are also links to various local initiatives and features. These initiatives and features are also illustrated below.
