Festival Week 1
Saturday 13th June
FAMILY
FUN DAY 12
noon - 5 pm Ticker's Folly Field
This will be a great
day for everyone in the village, especially for families. At 12.30 we will
be serving a pig roast and the primary school governors will be
providing a barbecue with good quality beefburgers and hot dogs, so lunch
is provided. You can spend the whole afternoon here with lots
of places to sit and relax and watch the fun.

Sunday 14th June
MANOR GARDENS OPEN 2 pm - 6 pm Blewbury Manor
The garden is open under the National Gardens (Yellow Book) scheme - all profits go to charity.
DOWNLAND DANCE 2.30 pm Millbrook Cottage Garden
Our youngest members dance on the lawn next to the stream. The performance lasts 30 - 45 minutes.
TEAS are available in St. Michael's Church, from 3 - 5 pm
BOULES COMPETITION 4 pm Tickers Folly Car Park
You register by purchasing your team ticket from Brian Duckett or Anthony Stiff

Monday 15th June
HISTORY WALK - HOUSES 6 - 7.15 pm Meet at Village Hall Car Park

guided walk around the Village to learn about the houses and the characters
who lived in them

Following the success
of their first recital last year, the Blewbury duo (known locally as Richard
and Charlotte Good) make their Festival debut in a varied programme of
operatic arias and songs.

Wednesday 17th June
A CELEBRATION OF THE TIMBER FRAMED BUILDING
7 pm The New Barn, Blewbury Manor
Peter
McCurdy, timber framing expert, will tell the story of the reconstruction
of the Globe Theatre, London, and Marianne Suhr will dedscribe the repair
of her own timber framed house in Blewbury.
