TWO-LIFE KNOCKOUT
There are two knock out tournaments running at the same time:

The winners of each - if different - can then play a final.
Toss for colours. Time-limit for all moves to be 90 minutes (as in divisions 1 -3 in the Oxfordshire League), or (if both players agree) all moves to be made in 75 minutes (as in division 4 of the League).
Games can count towards B.C.F grading - if both players agree.
If a game is not completed by the deadline for that round, either one, or both players may be defaulted by the organizer (Mike Duck). The deadline for the first round is the last Monday before Christmas: December 20th.
