Sally Jones
Lakeside, Millbrook Close, Blewbury, Oxon OX11 9QL (01235-851640)
Sally is American. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento, and is a qualified Speech Therapist as well as a Drama Specialist. She arrived in England in 1969 to pursue extended qualifications in Theatre Arts, and stayed. In the years that followed she married, had a family, sang as a member of the London Philharmonic Choir, taught the Stanislayski Acting Method in three independent schools, coached students for external acting examinations, drama schools entry, and continued developing her passion for photograpy.
She is a non-digital, predominantly colour preferred, "enthusiastic amateur". Sally has photographed, in her own way, countries comprising the UK, USA, China, New Zealand, Morocco, Europe, South America and the French West Indies. Having been a Blewbury resident for many years she has also extensively photographed village scenes and events, and has exhibited her work at Blewbury School, the Village Hall, and at Chapmans by kind permission of the Owners. Selected photographs can be seen as Village post cards, and on the front cover of the latest edition of " This Venerable Village ".
